About this site
Air quality in Thailand changes from place to place and hour to hour, but most sources show only the monitoring station itself. This site lets you pick a province and district and see the PM2.5 reading from the nearest station, with health advice and daily history.
What is on the site
- PM2.5 and air quality for 77 provinces and 928 districts, each mapped to its nearest monitoring station
- Health advice for the current level and the other pollutants the station measures (PM10, O3, CO, NO2, SO2)
- Daily PM2.5 history covering 2016-2026, monthly averages and the share of days above the daily limit
- The same pages in Thai and English, and an installable app for your home screen
Where the data comes from
Live readings come from Air4Thai, the air quality service of the Pollution Control Department. The site fetches them once an hour. Daily history comes from the daily PM2.5 and PM10 reports the Pollution Control Department publishes as spreadsheets. District positions are matched to the nearest station by straight-line distance.
Limits to keep in mind
- This is not an official website of the Pollution Control Department and has no connection with it.
- The value shown for a district comes from the nearest station, not from a measurement inside the district. The page states the station and its distance.
- Readings update hourly and can lag behind the real value. A reading older than three hours is marked as old.
- The number of stations varies by year, so history for some districts is thinner than for others.
- Statistics on the pages use the latest 12 months. The page title and descriptions refer to the full history.
- The advice is general information, not medical advice. People with heart or lung conditions should follow their doctor.
